CENTRE FOR FASHION ENTERPRISE
Collaboration with Zak Kyes
Centre for Fashion Enterprise is London’s pioneering business incubator,
it aims to support and nurture emerging fashion design talent. Designers
that are on or have passed through the scheme include; Basso & Brooke,
Erdem, Marios Schwab, Richard Nicoll and Manish Arora.
Hudson-Powell and Zak Kyes were asked to create logo, guidelines,
website and stationary for CFE. Our brief was to create a logo that
could be used collaboratively when CFE partners with third parties
whilst remaining strong when standing alone.
The first part of the HP+ZK soloution was to create a viewing window
or loop like symbol that could hold a variety of content and remain
recognisable. To re-enforce this idea we created a bespoke display font
(based on primer school fonts) that the CFE could own and would be
consistent
throughout it's various materials.
